There's plenty of snow around and the waterways are frozen as temperatures struggle to get much above zero.
There's been some good sightings reported by Visitors over on Burwell Fen in last two days including marsh harriers (4), hen harriers (2), short eared owl (2) and a merlin.
There's plenty of action on Sedge Fen around dusk with Hen Harrier -ringtails (2) reported on last two nights, plus a woodcock.
A water rail can frequently been seen around the base of the bird feeders outside the Visitor Centre and a great spotted woodpecker can be seen and heard drumming around fen cottage and the education area.
The Reserve is fully open - the Boardwalk is mostly clear of ice and snow whilst the wider footpaths are mostly snow covered - so please wear appropiate footwear and take extra care.
